Every restaurant in town has a dish that will suffice. Is there a particular protein this person does like?

Chicken and beef are good. Some Louisiana flavor would also be good, but i know the majority of that is seafood or pork dishes.

If anyone knows particular dishes they could recommend at particular restaurants.

Thanks

I think that will be a little pricey. Will probably need to keep it around $10-$20

An 18 piece dark from Chicken Shack fits the bill.

You should be able to find something for $20 or under at Digiulio's.

Gino's has lunch specials for about 13 bucks or just get pizza.

Albasha has lunch specials. Lots of places have lunch specials.

What about Louisiana specific without seafood or pork? Anything comes to mind?

Other than finding a roast beef poboy somewhere, I really don't and not for the price.

I think Beausoleil has grillades and grits for lunch, but I don't know if the grillades are pork or beef. You could call and ask. Grillades would work if they're not pork, but it's usually a brunch dish.

Yes, it is when you throw in the Louisiana specific food request excluding seafood and pork. Maybe you could find a place with blackened chicken in your price range. I'm not sure if Copeland's could have something that fits, but their sauces tend to have crawfish, seafood or tasso in them if I recall.

You can probably do Zea for lunch for $10-20 an entree.
