Recommend a fairly new Nola restaurant

Going out to eat tomorrow night, and am not too familiar with all the new restaurants in the past 3-4 years. Was looking at Peche, but can someone convince me otherwise? Thanks in advance.

Well Peche still seems to be the "hot" place these days so you can't go wrong with that one.
Probably been 100 plus new places open in the last few years so it's tough to narrow it down.
The last two "new" places that I've eaten at were Kenton's and Marcellos and both were excellent.

Summer 2016 Openings
From that list, I've been to Turkey and the Wolf, Little Korea, and Altamura and enjoyed each. They're expensive sandwiches, Korean, and Italian, but legit.

Peche is still number one for me. If you want another idea in the same area Compere Lapin (mentioned above) is top notch.

We ate at Restaurant Avo recently it was very good.
I got the Pistachio Crust Halibut and wife got the Scallops.

What's the definition of new? Because almost all of the places in this thread or at least a year old. I don't consider that new.

Try uptown. None of the places anyone is mentioning in the CBD will be available. Beyonce.
Peche, Shaya and CL are all 100% out, so don't even waste your time unless you want to eat at the bar after a long long wait.
