My padain died after eating raw oysters in New Orleans in the 60s.

Wasn't feeling well when he left the restaurant and headed for the car. Never saw the bus that ran him over crossing the street.

Sure,, a feller died, like balls said.. Am I to assume your draws gets wadded up by those statements?

Sorry for your friends passing,, but, IMO, I see nothing wrong with what balls said..
And, I don’t do cases like that, but by all means, beat your chest....

True

I let an old friendship keep me from reacting rationally to a statement about his death.

There are facts about that matter that never made it to the public arena and I jumped the gun on Balls.

Was it that he used “croaked” instead of passing or the bad liver comment insinuating your dead friend was a drunk?

I may not have a NOLA liver but I do have an All-Pro Liver and if I keep putting up these numbers it definitely is going to be in the Hall of Fame.

My college roommate at LSU was from Missouri and his father got very sick from NOLA oysters. He got hepatitis and had been Lt Governor of Missouri.

Maybe tourist northern politicians shouldn't eat raw oysters here.
