Not your imagination...

Plus the guy that runs it in BR should be shot. Worst service and he buys the little cheap chickens and charges you more than in NOLA and used to charge alot more if the dish had rice.

You wanna talk about a time warp, go to the BK in Galliano. Its just like the "King" would have expected it. Nice friendly workers who obviously take pride in their work, the place is spotless and the product is exactly what you ordered and fresh..............

I love dem "down da Bayou" accents, so its a bonus stop..........

Maybe BK needs a snappy new motto, something like, "Yes We Can"............

I'll say that the Subway on Harding is usually pretty good. I used to work over near Essen and I avoided that one like the plague during lunchtime.

i always thought subway should experiment with a two-sided counter with the employees in the middle

the subway downtown on 3rd and north st. (not north blvd) has dual counters as you walk in--one to the left, one to the right--and you eat in the middle

makes perfect sense to me .. the single counter with two people concept just doesn't work speed-wise when there's four or five people in line ..

1. Cane's
2. Taco Bell (they are actually good all the time I go, but the one on college is sometimes too busy so I can understand them taking some time. The one on Essen is the best taco bell in BR.)
3. Wendy's
4. Subway
5. McDonalds, but the one by Winn Dixie is terrible.

500. Jack N the Box, man I hate that place. Worst service EVER.

Could you imagine Jack N the Box taking Taco Bell's spot on college? Holy shite.

1. Chick Fil A
2. Cane's
3. taco Bell on Essen/Perkins
4. McDonald's
5. Wendy's
6. Jack in the Box
7. Arby's (I rank them low b/c when they are NOT busy, they decide to take a break and then it takes them 10 minutes to cook something just for me)
8. Burger King (Never will I eat there again)

And so...

why are Canes and Chic Fil A a top everyone's list?

I bet it's all those naggers who work the counter and annoy us at the other places. Damn naggers.

Interesting theory; I'm sure it will be well received around these parts.

Canes just has really friendly people working the counter or drive-thru whenever I go through. Plus I think I have only waited once for their food. I don't eat there much anymore though because they are raising prices for less quantity, but everyone knows that.

man, i don't even list jack in the box .. they have been horrible since they got here .. if there are 2 cars in line at the drive thru, i won't even bother, you are looking at 15 minutes easily ...

they are always very friendly and courteous .. but the drive thru line at the one by my house has gotten really slow .. i have seen the 3rd and 4th car in line finally just pull out of line after about 10 minutes ..

Yeah I haven't gone to that place in a long, long time. Seriously that place needs to be shut down in the greater baton rouge area.

i went to the one on jones creek at about 11PM on friday on my way home from the baseball game because i just had a jones for a whopper ... i was the third car in line .. finally about 6 other cars get behind me, so we have 9 cars in line now .. after about 6 or 7 minutes i look and notice NO cars in the parking lot other than ours ... so i get out of line, drive around and there's NO ONE in the store !! it is a 24-hour location too ... the workers just locked the door and left for some reason ... there was a name of a manager and phone number on the sign .. called and left a message about what was going on ... but God knows how much business they pissed away that night ...

Jack in the Box went one time 8PM to one on Sherwood..

Was told:
- The Shake machine was broken
- They ran out of Chicken nuggets/tenders
- That I needed to pull around and wait for my order (Hamburger and fries) NOBODY behind me.

I will NEVER be back to one in my life.

a few locations started closing at like 7PM after gustav and haven't changed back since .. what is sad is that they actually have some pretty good, unique sandwiches ..
