I did legs yesterday. So I didn't think it was from lifting.

It happened twice. Both after lunch.

Back in the day my pops said it was minor tendenitis and would get pissed about inning and pitch count. Makes sense throwing a baseball, just not sure about lifting.

It was really hurting on bicep work and I hadn't done anything on my biceps since midweek last week. Def. odd.

Think I need more rest and to add some supplements to my regimen. Only using Whey right now.

how long can someone run a 800-1000 calorie daily diet with fat loss before it starts burning muscle or will it at all? Assume the person lifts 4-5 days a week

Some days I IF and when its time to eat I get stuffed from one meal and have a hard time eating more than 800-1200 calories in the 6 hour period.

According to Dave Palumbo, continuing on a strict, competition style keto diet will starve the brain over a long period of time, killing brain cells the same way that drinking alcohol does

What kind of jail bait summer-breeze swindle is this man drinking!?!

Sorry, I couldn't let this slide. In no way is this true. In one sentence he mentions your body runs on ketones, but then it could be bad after a set time? That makes no sense. You absolutely, positively, need exactly Zero carbs to survive. They are not essential to the human body, there have been studies. The brain does need a small amount of glucose, of which, can, and does, get produced in the liver.

I like to IF because I feel like it keeps me from over eating. Is IF beneficial for weight loss if running calorie deficit but no keto diet?

It is. Some find IF easier on keto because you feel full and don't have blood glucose crashing. I do it from time to time. Besides, getting all your calories in one sitting makes you feel stuffed.

By no means is IF only for keto. I think 777 has a good protocol.

There is some research to suggest that fasting for 24-72hrs helps cleans out the junk cells That aren't functioning correctly (we all have cancerous cells in our bodies). I've done it several times, it's interesting.

I noticed that today.

Your body is just not telling you it needs all that food. It's frustrating, because you feel flat and kind of weak, but still don't have much of an appetite.

I've gotten bulk powders from powdercity

LINK

Currently using powdered yohimbine, caffeine, and HMB from them. I use the HMB mixed with BCAAs on days where I don't plan on eating until several hours after AM workout since HMB supposed to have anti-catabolic properties.

My protein has 24grams of BCAAs/serving.

Is that enough? Usually do about 1.5 servings in my shake..

You sure about that? What brand is that? It may have 24 of protein, but probably not that many BCAA (Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine). It likely contains a total of 24 grams of amino acids, of which usualyly 6 are branched-chain and 18 are not.

But you wouldn't need any extra BCAA supplementation. Like I said earlier, I try to take in BCAA and HMB around workout since I don't usually eat before and after workout.
