Has to be water retention. I've been really good. I ate some Izzo's last night post-workout, but kept it clean (white meat chicken, onions, mushrooms, pico, cilantro, lettuce, jalapenos) and was well below my allotted calories for the day since I hadn't eaten breakfast.
I haven't done cardio in weeks. I've been lifting. Once January rolls around and the gym is overcrowded with New Years resolutioners, I'll ramp up the cardio for a while.

Lurked long enough on this thread, time to jump in with both feet. Got my first physical in a decade and the results got me motivated. Need to get right and also lower my choleestral.

I too just got a physical. everything looked good except the weight. I recently had a cancer scare, but am fine everything is benign. Anyway its time to get back on the workout wagon. I am 6'3" 275. I want to get down to 230ish. That's the goal for this time next year, so about a pound a week. I can say this though, I am so sore right now. 280/270/230
