I think I'll join this thread and work the program for a year.
This morning I was 209.2, which at about 5' 7 1/2" is too much. At the beginning of last year I was probably 225. Worked it off with mostly Spinning 4 or 5 times a week at lunch time. This does not allow me to go out to lunch, so I end up bringing a lighter lunch to eat in the office. My goal for this year is 190. I will check in with a new weigh-in every Monday morning. Good luck everyone and good dieting.

Crappy Protestant food from Saints game party at the church added a few pounds, but I dropped them this morning. Too cold/wet for walking, so I got on the treadmill the last 2 days. Hate the treadmill, rather walk, but not through big puddles.

Hang in there. 1600 is tons of food if you eat the right things.

I have been eating 1200 or less. Your body will adjust to it with less hunger as it adjusts.

Made a little progress this morning...

200/198.5/180

Just gotta keep on moving. Between now and the end of the month I have the following birthday parties:
Son (15th)
Friend (15th)
wife (21st)
wife's aunt (28th)
So I'll be seeing alot of cake in the next 2-3 weeks. February will be better, if I can just make it through January without gaining what little I am losing back.

Ate a can of tomato soup last night (so good, but SO SALTY), and some salty chips with lunch, so I feel like it's water weight. I stayed right around 1400 calories, so I hope it comes out tomorrow.

Too cold to go running this morning and tomorrow (wind chill of 10 today and tomorrow), so I'm going to try and hit the elliptical this evening.

Come on guys. Its the new year. Where are all the New Years resolutioners?

I guess with 2012 coming not many people want to be in shape for the end, but I disagree. You will be able to get into better end of the world orgies if you are looking sharp.

Still having a hard time with motivation. I think it's the bitter cold keeping me from running this week and the fact that I've got so many "cheat days" coming up I know it won't do me too much good. After the end of January, I won't have a birthday involving cake every weekend and maybe I can get motivated then.

Actually put on a half pound since Monday. Might be the effects of my fried catfish meal for my birthday last Tuesday night still lingering.

Seems we lost quite a few people over the holiday season. Come backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!

323/216.6/185

I've been struggling like hell since the new year started to get back to my old eating routine. January is half gone, so I need to finish strong with all the hiccups I've had since Dec 24.
