Wednesday is here so that means Free Lunch Wednesday. My willpower is feeling a bit weak this morning.
Did you bring a lunch today? Also, where do you work to get so much free food?

1st checkin in about 2.5 months... had a big life change in the last couple of months... Didn't completely fall of the wagon, but there was some mandatory cheating (fast food on the road), but also a lot more physical activity ...we moved to Texas ... in the mean time, we did get a nice omega juicer and I get a big 12-16 oz juice to start my day for breakfast....lately it's had carrots, beets, celery, lemons, apples, kale, etc .... tasty actually... So I've pretty much been in a holding pattern since all that started....

Decided I will begin to check in everyday. The once every few weeks was not working.

Day 2 of insanity down and man I am HURTING! My quads are on fire. I can't sit, walk, or stand without a reminder of how much i've been working my core. Will need to be taking some motrin or something and try and alleviate some of this pain.

I couldn't walk properly (for 4 days) after my first day of insanity. It gets a lot better.

Tonight was the last 2 mile hump day race of the summer. My first one this summer was 16:05, which was in early June. Today I finished in 14:55 which was better than my goal. 70 seconds off in ~ 2 1/2 months ain't to shabby in my book.

The trend down has slowed considerably but it is still heading downward.
Yesterday turned out to be more poboys. Meatball, Hot sausage, roast beef, ham, turkey and some muffs.
I hid in my office and avoided the kitchen like EBOLA was spreading up there.
The good news is they ate everything. Usually on poboy day there are lots of leftovers on Thursday. Not this week so I should have a temptation free day today.

Day 3 is in the books. I can barely walk today. any muscle that has to do with my legs is so sore right now. But, as the old saying goes "No pain, no gain"

Getting really tired of salads/veggies for dinner. Switched to Lean Cuisines to break it up for a while. Are the calorie counts fairly accurate on these things?

Why not just buy the same ingredients from the LCs fresh and cook them yourself?

I started P90x the same time you started Insanity. I'm feeling the same way, though my shoulders and arms are killing me today. Let's keep this up and see if we can both continue to do this consistently.

Not sure. But, I'd imagine the carb and sodium content on those is going to be through the roof. Good luck with that though. Those things are gross.

Down almost 40lbs since I started April 4th. I am in better shape at 40 than I was at 30.

I'M BACK!!
The doctor has finally gotten most of the asthma attacks (the really bad ones at least) to stop. I can't exercise at all (but may look into stretching or something) but I am hoping I am at least healthy enough to not be on the couch eating comfort foods. I am going to do a low calorie, low carb diet change with a focus on fruits, veggies and salads. Hopefully this will be easy to keep up with. The local grocery has a new produce area with all the fruits fresh and cut into plastic containers daily. They also have a salad bar now (like whole foods without the hot stuff). Part of my issue while sick was not wanting to do prep but my husband has agreed that we will purchase pre-prepared fruits and veggies if I am not wanting to do the prep. I have 50 pounds to lose to be back to what I was when I got married three years ago. As of today I am down one pound for this week

Down a lb today. Going for a work dinner at Taste of Texas tonight. Will probably put that lb back on and another tonight.
