Just dropping in. I'm sticking to 1100 calories for a few weeks to get jump started. No alcohol for last couple and will continue. I'm a celery stick eating machine.
Glad to see you guys still here keeping this thread alive.

This thread is coming up on its two year anniversary. I'm at 230 now. I know when I stay under 1100 I can lose.

Water weight drain out! I hit the facilities a million times yesterday. I know TMI. I knew I would have a nice drop this morning.

Getting back close to my low. I wasn't perfect this weekend but it was better than it has been. I'm settling back into the diet.

Starting Insanity today, so I splurged this weekend. Using the Harris Benedict Equation I am allowed to consume 2,657 calories and lose weight. Of course, this will have to be healthy food and not a bunch of Krispy Kreme. I am so pumped!

Hey, I just followed what the Insanity book is telling me:
Step 1:
Women: 655 + (4.35 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)
Men: 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)
Step 2:
Multiply your number by the level of exercise:
1.2 - Sedentary - little to no exercise
1.375 - Lightly Active - light excerise (1-3 days/week)
1.55 - Moderately Active - Moderate exercise (3-5 days/week)
1.7 - Very Active - Hard exercise (6-7 days/week)
1.9 - Extremely Active - Hard daily exercise and/or physically demanding job
They recommend using the "moderately active" or "very active" category.
--------------------------------------
I calculated wrong. I missed the - (6.8 x age in years)
and added that number...
My new number is 2657

My number is 1681, pretty close to the 1500 I was thinking, but I'm in my 40's so thats probably where so much discreptancy comes in
I just burned the outside of one calf, freakin skin came off, looks bad but doesn't hurt much.
