1 pound from a new low.

No cheat weekend was tough but I got through it. I'm going to have a controlled cheat on Wednesday and then have a great month. I've been slacking, I've been 250-246 for nearly 45 days now.

HUGE meal Sunday at my parents- brisket, yellow rice, roasted veggies, Au jus galore, and Apple pie a la mode for dessert. . On the bright side, I got up in the attic yesterday afternoon and put some things away/took some things down, so after 30 about 30 trips up and down the stairs, I worked up a real good sweat (felt like I was on a biggest loser challenge), and I just at a light snack for dinner. 191/185.5/170.

I'm already nervous about Wednesday....

next weekend is going to be my 4th of july weekend. The good news about BBQs is that they are very low-carb friendly if you steer clear of potatoes and salad, french fries, dirty rice, macaroni salad, texas toast...

I am starting on day 3 of 7 in Destin. I have been good so far and plan on keeping it low carb all week except for large amounts of beer on the beach. I have dropped a pound since my arrival.

This is the first vacation I have ever taken a scale on. Things can get quickly out of hand away from a scale for a week so I brought it along. The wife just shook her head.

My minimal cheat weekend went better than I thought, after I ate some Bday cake ystdy I found myself very thirsty and thought I would have a substantial water gain, but didn't

Only .5 up from fri. I'll take it. This week is shaping up well. The 4th of July looks to be pretty low key. Its Mon and it was great not being up 3-5lbs from the weekend!!!

I'm just telling you what the scale says

I drink Ultras and I guess I sweat them out in the heat or something. Plus lugging all the family gear to and from the beach is a workout in itself. All I ate yesterday was celery with ranch dip for lunch and a regular salad with ranch for supper.

ETA: and about 20 Ultras!

I throw a few waters in there along the way. My pee stayed the right color all day so I guess I wasn't too dehydrated.

I was thinking you'd be off this wed for the 4th

El Josey, the last vacation I had in March I took a week off. A couple of buddies came in town from the midwest and they wanted etouffee, beer, boudin, beer, gumbo, beer.. I gained 10lbs that week. Went back on low carb and cardio after they left and dropped 4lbs in 2 days. 10 days later I was back at my low.I have a vacation in about 2 weeks and I'm taking your advice. I'm packing my scale

I think i'm finally ready to talk about what happened last night. After the terrible steak I had Saturday I decided I needed to make my own last night. I did, the local store had beautiful ribeye's on sale and took home two lovely rib eyes weighing in at about a pound each. The plan was to have one for later but I had fasted all day and was feeling hungry. Still I didn't expect to eat both.

That alone would have been so bad but the wife wanted mac and cheese. So I made some and proceeded to eat about half the box (or more). So things have definitely gone off the rails now.

At about 9:00 something happened that never happens to me, I got a craving for something sweet. So we go to sonic which is having half price milk shakes. I didn't realize they changed their sizes and now a large milk shake is 32 ounces!!! I got a large hot fudge and caramel shake and ate the whole freaking thing.

I felt like a freaking beached whale last night. In fact I completely understand why whales beach themselves now. I had to sleep on my back I had eaten so much. My stomach is still full from last night. Never again... Never again... I am placing myself on a strict no cheating policy through this Sunday.

Oh but get this, the weight gain wasn't even that bad.

302/262/245

I think I was only up about a pound or two from yesterday. I'm ready to bust into the mid 250's now. Time to turn up the engine.

Hey man it happens. Glad the scale didn't punish you too badly. In a few days of cardio and low carb, maybe a fast thrown in there you'll be back to your low in no time. Look up CKD (cyclical ketogenic diet) What these guys are doing is amazing

189 yesterday.

my bike computer said 119 degrees at the end of the race saturday..unbelievable. over 50% of the riders in my race simply quit and got a ride back.

didn't weigh in today, but had a fan-freaking-tastic weekend with the love of my life pitching a tent at my house saturday afternoon and not leaving until this morning. :sigh:

someone throw some cold water on me because i'm starting to like her better than my bicycles.

Just started few weeks ago, mainly been watching carbs, and eating healthy. Really haven't even been able to work out much, if at all. Gonna try to start up this week doing that, so that hopefully I'll drop a little faster.
