I started my "diet" when I got to 208 lbs about 7 weeks ago. I found this app on my iPhone called my fitness pal and it made me realize the crap I was eating and be accountable for it. So far, I have lost 21 lbs and I even started running again. I am always hungry but instead of eating the chips or whatever, I have realized how many extra calories I have been consuming so now I eat like a rabbit for lunch and snacks and am still able to pig out.
I don't know if this has been mentioned before but it has definitely helped me big time.

Congrats.
Myfitnesspal is great. I've been using it for several months now. I used a different site for over a year and it died.

363/315.2/250 At least I'm staying at my lowest so far. If I continue exercising it should def help.

I do. It's a great place, contrary to what some of the asshats on this board (not F&D) say.

Continue walking a mile a day, at least...then mix in 20 mins of sit ups, push ups, planks, jumping jacks, toe touches, etc, etc.....

165 is my final goal but I might lose a couple more because I know I will bounce up some as I add carbs back into my diet.

Bad weekend. I can't seem to stop eating.
I had about 2200 cals of chicken and red beans Friday and Saturday with no bike rides.
323/175.4/165
3 pound gain is the result.
I needed a change up on the menu so I added red beans with sausage but I have been powerless in the portion control department.

Dont feel bad, I've had a HUGE gain and I've been good. Well, to be specific, I've decided to change my diet because I'm so bored of Atkins. Similar to WW, watching caloric intake closely, portion control, and exercise. Started walking 30 minutes a day. Also started doing pushups and situps and bought a set of dumbbells to work out other muscles. I went to the gym yesterday with my roommate, so I'm sore from head to toe, and I think this gain is water weight:
363/321/250
Is it possible to have truly gained 7 actual pounds in a weekend where I ate light and exercised? I think it has to be water weight.
