great job!

I tell you what, the month of June has not been kind to me in terms of weight loss. I'm still 324. It's been 10 days since a loss.. again. I've only lost 3 pounds this month so far. I'm due for a loss again, hopefully I lose another 3 or so before July hits.

I know the problem, I just am too lazy to rectify it. But I have to dig deep.

42.6 down, 34 to go.
That's the first time below 225 in 6 years, but I'm going to dinner with my dad tomorrow night. He's a man who enjoys a good buffet, so i'm sure I'll be gaining over the weekend.

Damn phantom weight gain won't go away.

323/182.6/173

Looks like I am going to have to behave on Father's Day which will be a real pain in the arse as I will be making the cheese grits, eggs with grilled onions and mushroom, biscuits, hash browns and sausage.

and hulk..keep it up! dont get discouraged because you are DUE for a good drop soon. remember its much more fun to maintain than to lose..so keep working to get the damn pounds off so you can enjoy yourself. push yourself now so a year from now you don't have to.

It's always something else.

I went to pick up my truck from the mechanic this morning, $303. Wouldn't start. Would crank but wouldn't turn over, so the battery is fine. Mechanic tried priming the fuel a few times, it would start to turn over but the die. Fuel pump is likely gone out now. I just can't catch a fricking break. I'm gonna go crazy here soon.

173/151/145

Gained poundage when I went back up to Ruston.

Down to my old self and about to start sit-ups to see my old abs.

Keep in mind, the 173 was ALL in my stomach and neck, it doesn't seem like a lot, but it was HUGE in my appearance.

I'm familiar with the "pregnant snake" look.

No pushups for a while as I hyperextended my elbow. sneaky pain jolt when moved in the wrong position.

I wonder how CAD is feeling pedaling up that mountain? I'm wagering he's thinking about a cheeseburger right about now.

He's getting to work on a ship off of Rio in Brazil. And he's not a father anyway.

Losing all the weight but still have a little of that baby fat looking stuff around my rib cages/abdomen. Will sit-ups clear this crap up, or just more weight loss?

Keep up the good work guys!

And 'pregnant snake' - exacty.

Had to weigh a day early last week and later in the day, so gained 0.6 :-(

But lost the 0.6 and another 4.6 this week - so recorded a loss of 5.2. TOTAL OF 40!!!!

ct..cherohala was a bust

:angry rant: so i had to bail on my friends and the cabin. it kinda worked out..someone who wanted to go but couldn't because the ride was full was able to use my regisration (and get my free tshirt)

but you know what? instead of sulking i looked around and found several races going on in memphis (very short races) so i threw the kids in the car yesterday morning and we went to memphis to race and party.

race #1: circuit race (1pm) it was a 2.4 mile loop with a nasty uphill portion in the back..my son watched the pros race before mine and asked if i could go off the front like the one guy was doing so he could get a video. i told him 'maybe' (that shite is hard!) but guess what? i ripped my lungs out and led the race for a lap! it was awesome coming around the start line and having the announcer call my name as leading and seeing my son's face..totally worth it. i finished 19th but i didn't care..i made my son happy and was satisified to 'sit in' and finish the race after that.

race #2: time trial (7:15pm) i had recovered sufficiently to put in an all-out effort here. again i reached new levels of pain but finished 7th! bonus: top 10 finishers earn USA cycling points which will help me 'level up' to the next division!

so you're now talking to someone who is ranked nationally on the USA Cycling website...i'm number 767.

hey..but i'm ranked.

oh and 192 today. seems all that racing didn't cause me to lose much weight.
