Thanks, Hulk. But we all know that the closer you get to goal, the slower it comes off. Now I am going to start daily bike riding or treadmill or weight training. Rode over 10 miles yesterday. Last half was uphill. But I feel great today. Going to ride some later today.

Aw come one you got this!

I'm in the middle of a damn nonplateau. Sunday will make 2 weeks no drop, constant 324-325 fluctuation. My pants are looser than ever though so there's still that. Just hate not seeing the numbers go down.

Man, that really sucks. Drinking enough water? Maybe try getting out and about a little more? If i sit around the house, it is harder not to want to eat.

Mr. CT just left for Curacao, so I need to make sure I get out in the yard and work every day, as well as ride bike. ANYTHING to get away from the almond can and refrigertor.

Keep the faith.

Official post vacation weigh in: 220/213.5/150. Looks like I gained a pound. I am good with that. I did cave and have chips and salsa at lunch yesterday and a few bites of homemade macaroni at dinner last night. Oh and a bite of my sons icecream. But all in all I am very proud of myself. I feel like I accomplished a lot and stayed in control. Now to get back to the task and see if I can get more weight off. Also bonus- went hiking twice on this trip and it was much easier than it would have been before. Also clothes are still getting looser so I must be losing inches!

I drink lots of water. I'm doing induction and I think CAD put the gris gris on me. He called it about a week before I started induction again, he said "don't be surprised if you stall when you start induction" CAD >=(

@benchwarmer damned potatoes. I never liked em much anyway

Haven't checked in in a while, but been busy with a newborn. Little girl 6lb 6oz, not that anyone was wondering Since my last check in, I'm down 3-4 lbs, so I'm trending in the right direction. My pattern is kinda like hulk's- lose 1-2lbs, then maintain for a week or 2, but I'm ok with that. I feel like overall i'm eating better, hence the weight loss, I'm just not on a strict diet. I think it will work out for me in the long run.

Great job to all, and Myth, even if this is the F&D board, you're pretty brave for posting pics. I know Hulk is a farker in his spare time, so you might check that board every now and then just to make sure.

No, Bench. I like riding the bike because my knee joints are worn out from all the sports I played in my younger years. The bike is great for building up my thighs and quads, which I cannot accomplish because I cannot do lunges and squats.

Anyway, it is great to go to the store and burn calories and fat instead of gasoline. I am 2.5 miles from the nearest store, and over five miles to downtown. Fresh air and sunshine are great. As for racing or cross country biking . . . . um, no. Although I would like to ride the Natchez Trace.

I knew the risks.

Great job to everyone. Be careful over the holiday weekend.

Great job Cad but I'm going to beat you to 175 much faster than 185.

I'll probably gain a bit tomorrow. I just got back from Phil's Grill. I did have the side salad instead of the fries but I ate the bun, every glorious bit of it.

I feel a water weight gain coming on tomorrow because I am absolutely dying of thirst.

Was up 2 last week at weigh in but lost that and another 1.4 this week. Total loss of 34.0. Had a family get together last night and got tons of compliments - woohoo!!

Congrats! That's awesome. Can't believe you are even attempting to diet, but that's great too!

I did it! I am at 50+ pounds lost....

226.4/176.1/155

So of course I went out and celebrated by roatripping to my favorite cupcake bakery and getting a four pack to go

I came to my senses and dropped 2 off at my sisters on my way home, and skipped breakfast and lunch to somewhat make up for the 1 and 1/2 I did eat. Going to be a very light dinner too, I will be fine for my daily calories but thats a whole lotta sugar.

I am ready to do the damn thing and get to 155. Almost everyone I started this with has quit. ( To give my sister a little credit, she did get unexpectedly pregnant 2 months into it...possibly bc of the combined 50 pounds she and her hubby lost in those 2 months!-obesity on both of their parts was being paritally blamed for their inferiltity) The only person even really attempting it out of the 6 starters is one of the atkiners. I have lost just over 50 and she has lost 47. ( She started out 50lbs heavier than me) but she is in a nonplateu for the last few weeks.

Strangely enough, I haven't had a week where I plateued yet. I had a week where I gained but that was bc my diet was horrible-otherwise it has been slow and steady loss...I'll take it!

ETA- I can't type or add/subtract today

Well I wasn't the one that actually birthed the baby, so it's been a little bit easier for me, but now that I'm not having to deal with Mrs. Gumbo's pregnancy cravings, dieting becomes a little easier.
