but the more important goal here is what happens ***NEXT*** year. alot of people lose weight over a year and then lose focus..what you do the next year (maintenance year) is the most important part of this whole process.
True dat. I've lost the weight a few times. unfortunately, I usually follow it up with a year long pig-out celebration and end up 10 pounds heavier than when i started.
It's a trap.

255/223/195 3/1/11 start date.
The weekend didn't kill me afterall - even though I don't need to make a habit out of it. I'm still losing. I'm exercising everyday now, so maybe that is making up for things.
It is amazing to be able to pull out shirts and pants that were in the back end of my closet. I couldn't bear getting rid of them because that would be me admitting that I was going to stay huge. But, it's been a while since I've been in some of these clothes.

The crawfish boil weight is coming off. Hopefully back to low by the end of the week.
No ride today. I am sick. Feel, like crap so I have been in bed all day. Hopefully I get back on the bike tomorrow.
I think that damn wind just ripped me to shreds yesterday and wore my damn immune system out.
Congratz Hulk! Keep up the hard work.

Wow. You've lost 21.5 lbs in 17 days. Way to go! You'll hit your plateau soon, though. Maybe in the next 10 lbs or so. Don't get discouraged. Stick with it and the weight will come off again.
Someone said on here that losing weight is more like going down stairs than it is going down a slide.

Myth and CAD, get used to this view
because you're going to be seeing it a lot. Y'all will be in my rearview mirror eating dust.
I'm tired of you two farting around.

Some. From the net it can vary from recipe to recipe but the 2 I saw had about 8 net carbs per 8 ounce serving.

I wish I had more consistent loss. 1 week no loss followed but "whoosh", but this "whoosh" was 3 lbs, now I'm back up 1 pound and will probably have to wait another week before a "whoosh" and lose 3-5 more lbs. I know any loss is good loss but the whole not losing for a week or longer at a time is pretty annoying lol
