No one wants to see me in a swimsuit but hopefully I am now one step down from a beached whale.

In all seriousness...my only goal right now is to get stronger and try and fill out some from losing all the weight and being skinny fat. I tried the running thing for a while, but I felt like I wasn't getting enough recovery. At this point in my journey, I just want to focus on my strength.

Keep doing what you're doing. If feel need to add any cardio, do sprints or some other HIIT style activity.

Hit the rower and do sprints. Work in some heavy KB swings. Good cardio and you're building some muscle

Since Friday on Keto...went from 365 to 352. Breath is a bit yang, but this diet is doable.

Good job!
My curiosity got the better of me this AM so i weighed.. 285.7. A few down from last week, so trending in the right direction. I've been cranking up the workouts since last week, started feeling like I was ready for more and I was right. Feels good to increase volume, but still not quite back to the exercise capacity I was at about 2 years ago. I will get there again, having to keep in mind how much I worked against myself once I stopped exercising and eating like a pig again.
SO hit a new low, proud of her. She's working her tail off too.

Down 14 pounds since May 13th. I'm not totally out of shape, just trying to get back to a healthier weight. You never see a fat hunting dog.
I've significant cut down on beer, but fresh made margaritas and old fashioneds are typical. I'm not doing keto any longer, just eating smaller portions. Whenever I would eat a whole burger and fries, I eat half and a salad. 2 links of boudin for lunch with 2 slices of white bread? Now it's 1 and 1. I've adapted and don't really get hungry. When I do, I pull out a big naval orange, which are so perfectly ripe right now, and take that down.
I'm also running 15-20 miles a week, doing spin class a couple times a week, and lifting 4-5 days a week heavier than I have in 10 years.
Feeling great and have had to tighten my belt by 2 notches already, which kind of sucks because now my pants are starting to fall off.

Had a rough gym day yesterday missing my OHP and Squats, so time to de-load again. Been back in for working on 13 weeks straight without missing a workout. Progress has been great, but starting to feel it. Can't wait for the week of the 4th to get here as that's going to be my designated week off for R&R (and recovery).

Trying to get tennis into my exercise routine a couple times of week. Went for the first time yesterday. Had a blast and got a pretty good workout.
Going get a DEXA scan today at Tulane, followed by some Blue Oak for lunch if I have time. Will post some results and pics of food after.

6'5" 210 (with clothing)
20% BF from the dexa scan. My Aria scale said 15% this morning and 13% a couple months ago.
Guess it's time to start doing lots of sprints...

Why did you quit keto?
Posted on 6/22/16 at 11:51 am to Paul Allen
I don't really think it's sustainable. I like beer. I like sushi rolls. I like fruit. I like a lot of things along those lines.
While I avoid bread, rice and pasta fairly well, I think it's silly for a diet to tell me I can't eat a fresh orange, some fresh pineapple or even an apple.
I love ribeyes, pork chops and wings as much as anyone, but eating only that isn't the way I want to live.

Thanks for posting the chart! Just saved it so I can use it as a visual reminder/cue to make less fatass choices.
