He makes good points and that style of training has its place. I'll have to try it at some point. Couldn't really use it now since I'm cutting for a physique show and retaining muscle mass on some body parts isn't necessary. If anything I'm trying to lose muscle mass on some parts for symmetry.
What's worked for me and what I'm still using variations of since I'm constantly adapting it to my needs based on my knowledge, is what I posted above. It's essentially maximizing the time the muscle is under tension.

I'll also add that someone just starting out should use the method I listed last page. it allows that person to get their form right before moving to the heavy weight needed for strength training.

Made it thru the weekend without gaining. Maintained by just having a few extra calories but no true cheats. I consider that a victory!

Dried out yesterday. I was on some kind of death fat spiral by Ghost and Envie.
I'm gonna weigh in Friday.

Does anyone here meal prep?
I just wanted to cook a bunch of chicken for the rest of the week, but I really don't know anything about cooking. Every time I try making chicken it's always wrong somehow. Do you cut the huge breasts in half?
Can someone just give me some quick step by step for baking chicken breasts? With ingredients like salt, pepper, etc

When I was doing that, I found the crockpot/slow cooker to be my best friend. I'd take 1-2 lbs of chicken breast and throw in to the crockpot with a little chicken broth + salt + pepper and let it cook on low for 6ish hours or so. It's makes it nearly impossible to frick up for people that can't cook (like me and you). Then I'd just shred that and weigh out individual servings.
How you eat it after that is up to you, I enjoy adding a little soy sauce and some cauliflower rice or turn it into a chicken salad etc...or just add veges to it.

I didn't even think about using a crockpot. Might give that a try tonight.

I've been meal prepping, but mainly using the grill. I've been grilling packs of chicken wings or legs at a time with some sausage. Pop them in the oven at work for 15-20 minutes and I'm ready to go.

Yea i meal prep all my meals for the week on Sunday. Makes life way easier and i know exactly what macros I am hitting. I will post some recipes tomorrow.
But if you look on my drive folder linked in the OP, look in the anabolic cookbook folder, has an arse ton of great recipes.
