I'm a sucker for Thai food, and for some reason, people won't touch the ground pork at the grocery store. Made a couple days' worth of Larb Moo last night. Didn't take pics, but it looks like this:

Nothing intricate, but I diced leftover Mediterranean chicken meatballs and sautéed with kale, green and red pepper, onion, and jalapeño. Topped the mix with two sunny side eggs that were seasoned with thyme, paprika, everything seasoning from TJ’s, and topped with feta. Sided this with brown rice and sliced avocado.

I had this pizza on Friday night (Bread & Circus):
Biancaneve
mozz, housemade burrata, ricotta, sweety
drop peppers, oregano & olive oil

And I had these tacos on Saturday night (Tula Tacos + Amigos):
BIRRIA
beef slow-simmered with chiles, shaved cabbage, radish, cilantro, onion.

Both were excellent, but I didn't take pics of either.

Didn't take any pics, but having my wife at home with the kids has let us plan meals like we haven't had time to lately...Wed through Friday she fried chicken, made a chuck roast and on Friday fried up some bluegill, crappie and catfish. I haven't eaten that well 3 days in a row in years

On Thursday I grilled some amazing filet mignons.

On Saturday I picked up some damn good brisket and ribs from Crescent City BBQ. One of their sauces is kind of spicy and it made for a damn fine meal.

Grilled chicken marinated in Greek spices, red wine, and olive oil served with spanakorizo, pita, and tapenade was excellent

Last night made homemade fish sticks with salmon with cavatappi with broccoli on the side

Burgers with homemade pepper jelly, bacon, and cheddar. Roasted Sweet potatoes on the side with tomato jam and sour cream.

Making enchiladas tonight.

Being bored and locked up makes for good eats.

Lucky coincidence this weekend as we caught 30 meaty blue crabs in Bay St Louis and my neighbor sent over a huge bag of tuna he caught Friday.

Crabmeat salad
Tuna tartare
Grilled tuna with soy glaze
Roasted royal reds

It was an awesome seafood-a-palooza.

I've reverted to the college plan. Noodles, can of prego, pound of ground beef.

Seasoned with Tony's.

Caught six nice-sized catfish yesterday in Alligator Bayou. Had a fish fry last night, along with some boiled crawfish.

Went old school yesterday for lunch and had a bologna sandwich (white bread) and a bowl of chicken ramen noodles with a glass of sweet tea. Felt just like I was back in my college apartment.

Wasn't something I cooked, but:

Saba: Scallop and leek hummus, wood fired asparagus, and lamb kebabs

Made Marcella Hazan’s Bolognese recipe. Came out awesome. Tasted even better a few days later.
