Damn, baw, you love rice.

I made some Lenten seafood gumbo Friday night.

Saba: Scallop and leek hummus

How was this? I was thinking about ordering some Saba and definitely wanted to get this for the hummus.

I’m still a bigger fan of the crab and roasted corn when they had it but i liked it.

The scallops were cooked perfectly and it was great, but nothing like eating their food at the restaurant straight from the kitchen.

Had some sac-a-lait and bluegill too but my father-in-law snatched it all -- I only got a few small bites

This was my effort at a sardine recipe from a link posted on an older thread. Offshoreangler posted the recipe on this thread. Pasta con sarde

It was a unique meal and very good.

A bolognese and an all'aglione sauce. It's a northern Italian bolognese which is a meat sauce rather than the red bolognese made in southern Italy.

Sunday I used some deer stew meat to make Pioneer Woman's beef stew with beer/paprika recipe. Last week I cooked Donald Link's smothered pork roast recipe. Trying to use meat from the freezer until things settle down

wife put it in. i like the 'ice cream scoop' size myself.

this pic makes me laugh; its like the louisiana version of 'large big mac and a diet coke'. gumbo and a corona premier.

Made Picanha tonight from a whole Prime Sirloin Cap. It was exquisite.

Bought it at Costco for $5.39/ lb because they were out of chicken. Paid $31.87 and have two packs of steaks vaccuum sealed for other meals.
