The wife and I were in NOLA over the weekend and stopped in for a monsoon, baked potato and hamburger. I know its a hole in the wall, and is always packed but it never disappoints.

It's my favorite burger place.

It's not the best, but it is good and consistent. It will always be one of my favorites.

I love it, and a good day drankin spot. But you will get many down votes.

Maybe if they shortened to "Port" or "Call" it could be trendy.

It's a good burger. I'm always nervous the building will burst into flames. The place is a death-trap, maze with only one exit.

There's at least two. They only use one.

Never been, but was just looking at photos on yelp. Are those canned mushrooms and fake bacon bits?

I agree. Im not a food snob so i dont have a problem admitting when i enjoy a place or not, even if its a tourist trap.

Some people on here act like its the worst burger they've ever had.

Yes it is.
I do enjoy a stop in here from time to time for a plain ole hamburger.
There is just so many Curbsides you can eat before the ole standby is a must.

There is probably a few levels between 'gotdamn glorious' and 'worst burger'

Port of Call makes a good burger. Better than a lot of places. It's been popular for a very long time, which makes it easy to hate on here.
