Passing through on 1-10 heading to New Orleans. Looking for suggestions on places close to the interstate that have a good take out service. Thanks in advance.

Now?

If you're passing though just get fast food?

Not fast food, but somewhere local and good that we can call ahead and order. On a time schedule.

Chelseas is my favorite and it is very close to interstate

Mojo chicken Poboy and the grilled cheese on Foccacia are easy car eating and some of the best two things they offer

Last two times I was there it was bad .
Food and service were both terrible.
I used to really like it.

Chelseas isnt the best food in the world but I would not put it in the sucks/terrible category. What did you get on those two visits?

That Bett-R (or however you spell it) is a lifesaver for any college/law student. God I loved that place. I would pick up a rotisserie chicken and a few side items for under ten bucks to last me a few days. Saved so much money.

oh and chelsea's is pretty good
