No. My roast beef poboys are garbage. Definitely better to get them from a pro.

Have tried it twice & it’s a terrible, sloppy, tasteless mess

Uh, no.
Parkway's poboys are so good, there's no need for the gimmicky sandwich. Shrimp poboy, please.

Milk Bar in New Orleans does something similar called Christmas in July. Although it is thin sliced turkey more like you'd see on regular deli sandwiches, from what I recall.
Those pics in the OP make Parkway's version look much better than I've seen when people posted pics here. It looked sloppy then.

I think they stole that from me, about 50 or 60 years ago.
Love that combination. The photos you showed could use a little more gravy and cranberry sauce. But that is just me.
The only downside is this sandwich works better than a sleeping pill - go'tta be loaded with tryptophan.

Yeah if this is better than the surf n turf I would be shocked. Sorry can't stray from the best thing on the menu. I am a creature of habit.

Meh
I’d rather an oyster or half shrimp half oyster

I love a good Thanksgiving sandwich! I've been making 'em for over 30 years every Thanksgiving Day night. I actually look forward to and prepare for making it ahead of time. My preference for the bread is lightly toasted Texas Toast.
I haven't had the opportunity to get Parkway's version yet but I hope to one day.
I was just at Parkway yesterday with a friend from out of town. We both enjoyed the overstuffed shrimp poboys.
Never a disappointment!
Mmmmmm.........!!!!!!!!!

Solid work Nate!! That looks so much better than your creme brulees from the other day.
Here's my standard order from there.

I love PWs Shrimp Poboy. Every time I expect to try something else, I cave and order the SP. Always leave feeling fat and happy.

Anyone else make one? Just tore this up, dressing, cranberry sauce, honey baked ham and turkey.
