Double-Dry hopped beers typically peak weeks after bottling. For science, I'll compare my 06/12 & 05/31 sometime today & let you know.

Ghost has a very good shelf life, a few weeks one way or another should not matter.
I have some with a 6/12 date.

Not sure the science behind it, but ghosts shelf life is at least 3-4x longer than grace and grit. I had some not quite two month old grace and grit and it tasted like a malty mess with almost all hop flavor gone.

The DDH Bloom is SO good right now. Much better than when it first released

Yep agreed. G&G falls in about a month.

Had some Ghost on tap yesterday. $9 a glass is expensive. It was pretty good though, better than the late batches were last year

My experience with G&G is that it isn’t even worth trying to compare with Ghost. Not even in the same league.

Fresh G&G is great outside of when it was amarillo heavy.

That is an incredibly inconsistent beer...unless that is the intent. I had it at the overpass merchant and it was great, fruity, etc... Had it in a can and it was malty, green onion/garlic, etc...

I like G&G more than Ghost
Ghost has always had this weird sweetness to me. Most of the super haze beers do IMO
Just bought a bunch though so we shall see if I feel the same this year

I love Ghost but fresh GnG is damn good as well.

Got some ghost yesterday and opened one up. 5/31 date. It was fantastic. I found nova and bloom to be overly carbonated but they nailed it again with this batch of ghost. Better than the last batch from I remember.

Got some Texas baws posting pics on the FB pages of carts filled with 6 cases of the stuff in their grocery cart. Guess they got to earn that public craft beer street cred!

FB postings from Mississippi & Alabama are bitching about being SOLD OUT.
Time will tell if Parish can keep up with the demand.
