French Food Festival in Larose!!!
I highly recommend this to anyone within the driving area to come give this event a try. I'd put the food quality here on par with any festival in the state.

I don't know why I expected Jacques Pepin type French cuisine when I googled
Looks like a good time, would probably go ride if I didn't have kids' sports this weekend.

Ride bracelet $35 - Fukem'
Same reason I won't attend the Baton Rouge State Fair
$175 for a family of 5 plus whatever food and drinks.
$105 if I only buy ride bracelets for the kids.
That's a $250-300 trip to the fair.
Nope, nope, nope....

Alligator sauce picante is my favorite. Pork routee poboy with grilled onions second.
I'm unfortunately missing it this year but the wife and kids will be there all day Saturday. Usually go help cook up some gratons.

We go almost every year. We missed last year, but will be there this year.
Great food and music. One of the few festivals we still really enjoy.

Just got home from night one. I’d honestly pick the Seafood Pistolettes at this festival as my last meal.
