Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - Damn Good or Devil's offspring

I have never liked them, a cookie isn't supposed to taste like medicine.
I like raisins, I like oatmeal, and I like molasses (except on pancakes/waffles), but put the three together, you've created an abomination of the cookie world.

One of my favorite cookies is oatmeal chocolate chip. I cannot understand why they are so much harder to find than the raisin variety. Raisin is far inferior.

Someone took the GOAT cookie, oatmeal, and added the most useless fruit to it. It’s a shame.

I like the recipe on the cover of old fashioned oatmeal.
Vanishing oatmeal cookies. They have the raisins and it doesn't hurt to add some walnuts.
I guess our common ground is the oatmeal....

Always get pissed when I think Im about to bite into a delicious chocolate chip cookie.
Then it turns out to be oatmeal raisin :(

GOAT. Add chopped pecans. No molasses, no spices. Vanilla only, I could truly hurt myself on these. Oh, and no mass produced. They’re Nasty.

I substitute Craisins for the raisins and add white chocolate chips. Damned fine cookie.....

Yep, oatmeal chocolate chip is so much better than oatmeal raisin. Esp if you add very coarsely chopped toasted pecans, a whiff of nutmeg, and use dark chocolate irregularly chopped from a big bar (or mini chips).

I like them, but my breakfast cereal of choice is also Special K, so maybe it's me.

I haven’t been to a quizno’s in i don't know how long, but they have a delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, IIRC.

People who make oatmeal raisin cookies need to be beaten with a rubber hose until they quit. It's not the oatmeal, either, it's the raisins. replace the raisins with chocolate chips and toss in some walnuts and you have one of the best cookies ever devised.
Oatmeal raisin cookies were favorites of Torquemada, Hitler, Pol Pot, and Stalin. Don't be in that company.

I'm the same. I like oatmeal and I like raisins, but I hate oatmeal raisin cookies.
Part of my hatred is my favorite cookie is oatmeal chocolate chip and there's nothing worse than biting into what you think is an oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and it's friggin raisins.
