NuNus

The link DOESN"T shw you the boudin, this is really just to see if anyone has had their Award Winning Boudin. The orginal place is in Maurice, LA which is right outside of Laffy.
This is far and away the best boudin I have ever had. Others have told me to try this or that but NONE come close. They also have the best prokchops I have ever eaten.

Anyone been their? Tried the boudin?? Comments

Good Boudin. I like their marinated pork roasts and their cracklins.

Absloutely great sausage. In fact all their specality meats are to die for. I make the two hour drive every few months to stock up.

A gf suggested Nunu's at the Boudin Cookoff in Laffy. Was very good. Plump casing, can draw the boudin out without breaking the casing, good meat to rice ratio, not too much green onion, no orange grease dripping anywhere.. meets all of my criteria for boudin excellence.. but nobody beats Johnson's for the meat to rice ratio and the seasoning.

Settle down BURT! There's one in youngsville and one in Milton. Both have the same boudin recipe.

I had my first Tuesday. I cried a little when the one I bought was gone. Seriously thought about going back but was already 15 miles away.

NuNu's seasoning is the best also. So much better than Tony's and Slap Ya Mama.
