Noble Roman's Pizza

Anyone ever hear of this? I noticed on the drive home today that the new gas station being built at the corner of Nicholson and Ben Hur has a sign on it for Noble Roman Pizza. At first I thought it was a pizza joint going in next to the gas station, but afer a bit of research, it looks like it's the same concept as Hunt Brothers Pizza that's sold in gas stations. Is that correct? Anyone ever have it? Any good?
ETA: So it looks like this place did/does have brick and mortar locations, but that over the years it has also morphed into a Hunt Bros. concept, so whether this is going to be a stand-alone, sit down pizza joint or a Hunt Bros. type stand inside the gas station remains to be seen. I just get excited to try something new whenever I see the sign for a new pizza joint. As they say, pizza is like sex - even when it's bad, it's still pretty good.

That's what it has become. Strange trajectory as i remember it in the 80s being a small chain of sit-down restaurants where they had a projector showing silent movies and plexiglass around the kitchen so you could watch the pizzas being made.
Breadsticks/sauces were their signature item.

I remember it from when I was a kid, but it was nothing like Hunt Bros. Isn’t there a sit-down location in Golden Meadow?

I used to dine at one in South Bend/Mishawaka back in the late 70’s/early 80’s. Later on a friend and I drove there just to play a video game, I think either Spy Hunter or Elevator Action, on one of those tabletop consoles. I don’t remember much about their pizza but I don’t think I ever had it again after a Pizza Hut opened in my little town.

That's a name I haven't heard in ages. If it's the same company, they used to have restaurants in the 80's. Not sure how widespread they were, but there were a few in the Cleveland, Ohio area when my grandparents lived there.

Yes there is, I never ate there but quite a few of my DTB peeps enjoy it from what I see on FB.

Noble Roman's was big in the midwest back in the day. We loved eating at their brick and mortar joints as kids. The dough/crust reminds me a ton of the local chain Rotolo's down here.
About 5 years ago they opened up some Noble Roman's take and bake shops around BR. Don't think they lasted. I hadn't heard they were doing a Hunt's brothers type set up. About 10 years ago the brick and mortar stores had awesome lunch specials...it was an individual pizza, a full bag of breadsticks with cheese sauce, and drink for like $6.

There is a sit down location in Golden Meadow that is actually a very nice place with a huge bar. I think the pizza itself is delicious as well.
