Looking to get my groomsmen a nice bottle of whiskey, any recommendations? Somewhere in the $40-100 range

Four Roses single barrel is nice ~$40 bucks. Store should give you a little deal since you are buying a quantity

That's quite a broad range of options in that price range. Think they would enjoy bourbon or scotch?

That thread is useless to anyone not in the group that posts in there daily. It's just a continuous IM thread at this point.

Not knocking anyone in there, just saying.

I've asked questions in there in the past and the usual posters were very helpful.

High West Rendezvous Rye is fantastic, imo. Not quite sure of availability but it's definitely in your price range.

For a present, Blanton's is the answer. It's a good bourbon and the bottle is artwork. They can display it at home as well as drink it.

I second for gifting. If you want something different, try giving Redbreast 12yr cask strength Irish Whiskey. Best liquor under $100 imho. Comes in a nice box too...

OP, if you go with blantons. And if you can find enough to give each guy, try to get them each a different stopper. Each bottle has a different stopper, check for the letter on the side. You can collect them all and it spells out Blantons.

Balvenie Double Wood, could always go local and get some LA 1 Whiskey. I don't think it's worth the price, but it's cool because you're some guy from LA.
