New place to go eat after a game in Tiger Stadium: Whataburger on Burbank

Wish we'd get one in Lake Charles. We had one and now it's a Starbucks. Still has the A frame building.
Lake Charles needs some more places to eat out at. Most places close so early because they're so short staffed.
We're still trying to get back to normal after the storms last season.
There are a lot of awesome places that won't reopen so now it's just empty buildings. Chastains, is one I can think of that won't reopen.
Just wish some company would take a chance and open up something here. We have a vacant Ryan's buffet that is doing nothing but being an eyesore, it's the perfect size for a restaurant. Maybe it has structural damage, I don't know but it seems like they would've started to tear it down by now if that were the case.
We were supposed to get a Piccadilly again but who knows if that's going to happen now.

Whataburger is good. I’ve never known it to be “the best burger” and have no clue why y’all are saying it’s rated high. The only highly rated fast food burger I know is InNOut, which I enjoy but it does have a reputation which is hard to meet. But still good.
What are our other fast food options? McD, BK, Wendy, Sonic, Freddy’s, Atomic Burger. I like them all. They are all different in their own ways which is a good thing if you ask me.

I've been to that Atomic Burger several times. It's good, but a bit much. The fries are great, and I love that aioli is an available dip. They're fried in duck fat, which while amazing, isn't like more than a once a month trip for me.
The burgers are good, but Christ what is it with places not buttering and toasting a bun? The texture is just a little wrong for me. Soft bun, soft ingredients, that just feels too mushy. It tastes good, but the texture is a problem.
And then we come to the price. I don't count pennies for fast food, but $12.50 for what is essentially a combo? If they knocked it out of the park I'd have no problem with that. For me, they don't.
