No, they're not at the places you've recommended.

Try again.

I really despise you as a poster, but I'm sure that's just a personal thing. Your suggestions are just generally bad, however.

Mother's is just not good. It's not worth the hassle. ACME is meh. Sylvain would be nice if you wanted to take them some place a little bit nicer.

Eat is solid. Central grocery if you want a muff.

If you want to venture as far out of the Quarter as Julia St. there are a number of really solid spots as well. That might be getting far as you said you don't want to drive.

If it's their first time it's probably worth walking down Decatur and taking in the street performers and showing them Jackson Square. Tourists love that.

Please don't be like 99% of the inquiries on here who come here for restaurant advice, and never report back.

I think we all you know are much better than that.

Borgne

Did happy hour there once and didn't love it. That's made me wary of trying a full meal there. I forget what small plates we ordered but I remember just being unimpressed by one and thinking the other was decidedly undercooked.

Then we went to Peche after that. Borgne really suffered in comparison.

A friend of mine told me to try a place called Reginelli's? On Magazine, I think.

Anyone been there?

If you're going to NOLA with limited stops, Reginelli's is not a good recommendation, IMO. It's an okay pizza joint. It's not going to wow you. If you want a pizza, do Domenica. It will be better and it's actually significantly closer to where you'll be. You could easily walk.

If you're willing to drive all the way to Reginelli's (that is, Uptown), you've opened a whole host of new suggestions

Ok, thanks. I didn't know where it was in relation to the quarter.

I'll stick with the suggestions.

Thanks!

Domenica for sure if you're going for pizza and it's got other good options. Might need a reservation depending in when you go. Call before you go to check. So worth a visit.
