Dunno. Haven't been. Report back.

I like pizzicare. Top 5 pizza in the city IMO.

I like it because it's different, but I wish they did some of the same pizza by the slice they have at crescent pie.

Nice to hear. I'm going to give it a whirl for lunch next week.

Jazmine is the weakest link for sure, its just so convenient when I'm in that area and want some Bun. I may try Kim Ahn, and I been wanting to try that one on Canal by Carroloton.
Kim Ahn is my all around favorite. Best Pho in the area IMO. Cafe Minh is good, but it's not your typical Viet place. Its on another level with a way different menu, your not gonna come out of there spending $10 like all the other places. I like it but it's not a lunch spot for me.

I eat at Jazmine all the time.
Its convenient and the house soup they give you with every meal is addictive. Its not as great as some other places but its easy to get to, and cheap.

Do you own Brewstock?
No, but it is convenient having a brew supply store a few blocks from work.

I second this. Place is legit.
Also, for a brand new option: Toups Meatery
Looks good, but it is brand spanking new.

How does that end the thread?
I already mentioned it was a place I frequent. Was looking for other place(s).
Katie's is very very good though, and I may just stop in this week. Been craving the crawfish beignet.

Looks reasonably priced to me for a nice lunch.

Like many things posted on here it was not meant to be taken literally. Katie's, IMHO is the best eatery in Mid-City. If I had to choose one place to go, and only one, it would be Katies. Of course I would develope a severe yen for Pho as well as Sushi...

$13 veggie 'small' plate
$13 stuff artichoke
$13 cheese 'small' plate
3 large plates over $20
i dont know, i just think of a place like Bouchie whose small plates are all like under $10, and large plates in the $12-14 range. wth some $10 sandwiches. To me, that is reasonably priced lunch.
Im not sure of the portion differential, but i doubt the quality of food is any better. Most small plates are about the same size. And a large plate usually a dinner plate.
i wont knock it until i give it a shot. just looks expensive at first glance.

Definitely depends in my experience. I'm not saying its Herbsaint, but their "small plates" are all big enough that you can split 3 of them between two people and have plenty of food. OTOH at tapas places the small plates are unbelievably small (I realize by design). Just saying I've seen large variations in what small plate is. If they're tapas-sized then yeah, its way expensive.

I like Cafe Nino as a lunch spot, especially in a hurry. Great pizza, in and out quickly.

Some are in the Garden District and Lower Garden District, but what's an extra 2 miles?
I grew up in the Garden District and was thinking in my head of all the restaurants as I "visually" drove through the streets.
I'm sure I missed a couple.
