1.) French Quarter--walk in and all the way in the back is an open kitchen area "where a guy is grilling oysters and then they pour some kind of sauce on them and it's the most awesome thing ever, and I never even liked oysters..."--Lucky's Lady Friend from Missouri.
2.) Hole in the wall po-boy place in the FQ where people are lined up "and you walk in and, like there's no tables, and you wouldn't even think it's a restaurant, but they make, like ohmygod, the best sandwiches ever."--ibid.
I thought it was Acme and Court of something or other, but I was wrong.
Help a ninja out.

Problem is, depending upon how precise the descriptions are, several places could fit the bill.
Glad I could be of help.

Thanks! LOL, She says I recommended the places, but I have been to N.O. twice in 5 years and have no clue what she's talking about.

Court of Two Sisters resembles a response from a tourist

Tourist doesn't hit verti without knowing where they are going though.
These could be about a dozen places each depending on the description details, which are sketchy. Coupled with it being up to 5 years old - dumb luck if he gets them.

I don't know about that, the place is getting more and more popular with the tourist. I blame Brad Pitt.

As much as VM is talked about on this board, it really must have improved over what it was when I lived a few blocks away. I always thought it was waaaaayyyyyy overrated.

Not many tables. It probably seats like 20 people max and I have seen the line out the door several times.
