1- trying to decide if I should keep it or return it
2- if I keep it, I don't have a clue how to use it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

You don't have a clue how to use a smoker?

With the amount if outdoor cooking you do, I imagine it would be worth keeping and learning :) Now as for the actual product, I have no idea if it's a "good" one or not.

You grill chicken 200 days a year. This isn't much different

If I've never used one before, how would I?
Didn't want to take it out if the package if I was going to return it.
Thanks for your input.

They are very easy to use. If you enjoy smoked meats, seems like a no brainer to keep it

What all can I cook in it bedsides chicken?
My husband mentioned ribs and wings, neither of which I eat, but him and my kids love both.

Keep it, makes smoking pretty simple, easy to learn

I've had the 40 inch non-bluetooth model for 2+ years now. I absolutely love mine and use it regularly. I've done ribs, wings, boudin, sausage, homemade tasso, jerky, turkeys, brisket, pork loins, pork chops, meatloaf, and much more. It's very easy to use.

Nothing. The only possible item capable of being smoked is chicken.

How long does it take to smoke a couple of racks of ribs?

You can put a boston butt or a brisket in there early and let it smoke all day and it makes delish treats. My ol' man smokes whole chickens and turkeys also and its phenomenal.

Put em in, set the alarm on the nifty app you got there and go about your day! :)

Can't imagine a household where a husband buys his wife a smoker for mother's day. Just blows my mind

Last year a grill, this year a smoker. This cat knows what he's doing.

I have that exact model and i love it. I have one complaint. You have to add chips to it every hour or so. It is not a "set and forget" cooking tool if you like a lot of smoke.
Flavor is awesome and it is super easy to use.

Keep it. Learn how to use it so your family will have variety in the chicken meals plus you can do pork and beef.
