The usuals are: Acre, The Depot, Amsterdam, Hamilton's, Lucy's. Could drive out to Waverly and go to The Waverly Local.

Add The Hound in there as well, but for one meal, my first choice would be getting a reservation at Acre.

Only time I went to Auburn was this spring, and we enjoyed the heck out of The Hound. Great food, great cocktails and bourbon selection. Saw lots of groups of women. Seems like it would be right up their alley.
