I don't know about getting out of the car in LaPlace at 4am. Questionable even in the middle of the day.
Oh trust me I have had some definite questionable people come up to me. One dude Im not lying has asked me on multiple occasions for gas money with the same old story every night. Im like dude you have to recognize me by now. He just drives his truck around trying to get gas to go back to Lafayette weekly.
Ive had a kid around 8 years old knock on my window asking me for money. His mom was like 40 feet away in some not trashy suv. I couldnt believe she had her kid walking around the lot like that.
the occasional meth addict couple is always slogging around the lot looking for anything
i stop there to eat and feed the cats in the lot next door. screw the locals
But dem tornados are worth it

I haven’t had one in years but I used to love the cheap old arse Spicy McChicken sandwich from McDonalds. It is like a big Spicy Compressed chicken nugget on a sandwich. They were like $1. That was my guilty fast food.

Wow, I just found out I’m a snob.
Popeyes fried chicken for me. It’s unhealthy and the service sucks. And I feel like crap for a day or so after I eat it. But it’s so fricking good.

Probably the same brain dead moron that changed the lime skittle to green apple
I love green apple, but it does NOT belong with the other core Skittles flavors. Put it in with sour skittles. Lime balanced everything out when you ate them by the handful, but the green apple just fricks it all up.

I can hammer a Five Guys double cheeseburger and an entire order of fries. I feel like a slug for a couple days after, but man its so good. Haven't broken down in a long, long time, but I can feel a visit coming soon.

Every year for my birthday I get a Wendy's Baconator w/ fries and a coke and eat it alone in my car in shame.

Well I used to have to explain my tartar drenched FoF obsession from my wife, and she would reel back in disgust whenever I order one. Then one day she finally tried it, and that selfish bitch now takes a bite off of mine every time I get it.
We ride in shame together like a strong couple should.

The ultimate meat and cheese is the single best fast food breakfast item anywhere.
Hot tip- You can order it without the tortilla and they'll serve it in a bowl or in the chili dog sleeve. I've been known to order that on occasion after a long night. No shell, but yes tots. Not perfectly low carb, but a decent compromise
ETA: Whataburger Sausage, Egg & Cheese biscuit (Jalapeno cheddar) with a side of gravy for dipping.

Wow. Can’t say I’ve ever heard of one closing.

All the Taco Bell talk, we have one planned to open near us early next year. My wife did a happy dance. Baja mountain dews and a sack of cheap tacos.

Love the filet o fish. Cheesy Gordita crunch is my favorite fast food item though.

I haven't been to a "fast food" joint in over three decades, but cracklins are my weakness, which I guess would be its' own fast food obsession since I stop anywhere that has them.

The sausage, egg & cheese biscuit (jalapeno cheddar) was my favorite until I learned a gravy side was available.

Love the FoF.
Tried BK's fish tonight, actually. Never had it before. Won't be having it again. It was pretty disappointing.
