What would you change? I am second guessing the 48" range for a 36" but then I will miss my double oven.

I've found my refrigerator to be quite useful. You should consider getting one.

Dur to budget or other concerns? If not budget, keep the 48. Can't ever have too much surface area for cooking

quick observations
- extend cabinets all the way to the ceiling
- a small drawer bank, probably on the island

Is there an adjacent closet or pantry? There wouldn’t be sufficient storage in that kitchen for my pots, pans, dishes, etc. plus food storage. But I’m probably an outlier since I have multiple sets of dishes, sterling, and a crapload of bigger electric appliances.
I have a 36” Blue Star four burner stove and it’s plenty enough for a household of two. For the rare occasions when I need an additional burner, I’ve got a plug in induction burner I can use anywhere. I’d trade down to a smaller stove to get additional cabinet/storage space. As for two ovens, I much prefer a single large oven combined with a countertop oven that heats quickly and efficiently,
Trash storage: is there a pullout cabinet with room for multiple cans to sort garbage, recycling, compostables?
Island: I have a table-height island bc I’m short. It is much more comfortable to work on a 29” high surface than one placed at cabinet height from the floor.

Instead of the conventional microwave with the door I suggest going with the microwave drawer by Sharp.

It's in that 64 inch space on the opposite side of the island.

This is to the right of the kitchen if looking at pic 1.

I agree. You definitely want the drawer vs regular door down low. That way you are just letting things down into it from counter.

keep the 48" range...
I would consider deeper upper cabinets...when we re-did our kitchen, I went with 14" of interior depth...the extra space comes in handy...

I'm failing to locate the wine fridge.

If you keep the 48" range, can you make it a 52" hood? It's recommended that your hood be wider than the range for maximum efficiency.

Any downside to the deeper cabinets?

Yeah I'm sure I can shave a few inches off the uppers.
