Baw, one of the reason I goto the Fest. My favorite food item there.

I was underwhelmed by the crawfish bread this year..

But... my son.. who sticks to the simple things, got the fried chicken..
That was surprisingly fantastic..
Not sure if they brine it with some peppers.. but it had great flavor

Crawfish pie.

I forget every damn year. Won't happen again.

ETA: Oh and the cracklin weren't good. Idk why i keep trying to get those every year too. I usually get a bag and share with the friends. And every year it just makes me really appreciate Danny & Bonnie's.

Yeah, it isn't so much a lack of spice. It is lack of other seasoning.

I'd agree that crawfish monica is probably overrated but only become it's such a popular item now and not worth price paid for the small amount you get.

GOAT Jazz Fest food is the Jamaican combo plate. That shite is delicious and a great deal for 10 bucks.

You can it get with or without the mozzarella, I personally prefer it with cheese too. They are at most festivals, with only a few do they not sell the Yakiniku. I know for sure they sell it at Wednesday at the Square, and Boogaloo. Po Boy Fest later on.
