Went there while on a trip to California because of all the hype and was surprised by how sub par it was. If I have to eat at a burger joint, it'd be near my last choices.

That's not Jack in the Box, it's an Alabama fast food chain called Jack's. I ate there a couple of times passing through, and was not impressed. I shouldn't be surprised being that it's an Alabama creation.

I’ve never met anyone that thought it was good. I’ve never had anything even decent from there including breakfast, it’s hard to screw up breakfast. Hate that there is only McD’s and Jacks in Stephenson, but now that Widows Creek is gone, I don’t have a reason to be there anymore.

the only legit complaint with Popeyes is "pull forward and we'll bring it out to you" ... (in 15 minutes, with your order fricked up in one way or another)

outside of that, anyone saying Popeyes is overrated needs their arse whipped.
