I know a few that do read it, and post but have never let it slip who they are.

One guy that really impresses me with his knowledge of cooking is Tavolotim. He's old school and knows his cajun/creole seasonings and techniques.

Would be so awesome to have an F&D Board pot luck dinner.. maybe that's what heaven will be like..

I don't flame the Food Board or the Movie Board, I also don't bring disagreements from other boards here.

I posted my honest opinion

hey I am agreeing with you (first time ever).

I just wish I knew every minority restaurant owner in town. Must be nice.

I didn't realize that Latinos were the only minority in Baton Rouge.

If you want to be a hack on the Food Board, be my guest, Zombie has already proven his knack at it.

What are you talking about? The Advocate is still around.

i think three weeks ago their big restaurant review was buffalo wild wings. and they raved about it. it was beyond sad.

i forgot the one last week but i think it was another chain and they raved about it to

they did mellow mushroom and once again loved it. i personally have been to mellow about a dozen times and never liked it.

and that's my problem with the advocate, they seem to love everything

I'm taking this as no news being good news...
Tavola is underrated if anything.
His recipes on here are money.
TA, while we disagree sometimes, has good knowledge and criteria when he evaluates.
Can't really think of an overrated poster.
