3 couples, one of which if from North LA, who prefers to eat some seafood because they're in NOLA and well, it's not North LA.

Not looking to break the bank, but I guess price isn't the priority. Someone suggested Vincents, but that's not going to satisfy a seafood, right? Tried Austin's but they're two seating time options won't work for us.

We did Drago's last year, so I'd like to do something different. (they did enjoy that though)

Suggestions?

Vincent's has some seafood dishes and is always good.

If seafood isn't a deal-breaker take them to Brasa if you want to stay in Metairie.

While not fancy in anyway, maybe try R&O's. If that doesn't work, Felixe's or Blue Crab out by the lake.

Maybe the Galley on Metairie Rd. It's overpriced, but the food is good.

I agree that Vincent's would still be worth it. The N. La folks would probably be very impressed with the corn and crab soup they serve in the bread bowl.

Impastatos if they’re open. Best seafood and Italian restaurant in New Orleans. Tell them TulaneLSU sent you.

Acropolis. $19 four course dinner, three fish options. Cheapest redfish and red snapper price I know of. Portions almost too big.

May be tough to get reservations but Andy’s Bistro on Vets is great.

Merry Christmas to everyone, and thanks for all of the suggestions. We haven't been able to secure reservations at any of the suggestions yet, but will keep trying.

Feel free to add to any of these. Whether or not we get to these next week, I plan to try all of them eventually.

Thanks again!

What about Restaurant Cypress? It gets overlooked a lot but it’s very good.

Little Chinatown for the win.... best Chinese food in the city by far and it’s not even close.

I like Reds too. What’s are some other good Chinese places?
