Do they exist? Or at least not extremely smoky?

Thanks.

Yeah, they exist.
If you need something nice, Andrea's restaurant has a nice bar connected to the restaurant.

Lagers and Sidelines are smoke free.

Metairie bars are suppose to be dirty, smoked filled, nasty places, with cheesy people IMO

There's got to be a few exceptions though, right?

Yeah, he's joking.

Are you looking for a date place, a business deal, or an after work cocktail?

this. The dirty, cheesy people don't bother me. I just dislike feeling like I need to shower when I get home. I hate having smoke smelling hair.

I've thought of restaurant bars but they are usually more expensive.

Andrea's has a decent happy hour deal.

Good cocktail bars that aren't tied to restaurants are kind of hard to find in Metairie.

Lagers, Copelands, Knuckleheads, Sidelines are places I have been after work recently that are smoke free.

On Metairie Rd. Winston's and Oscars are fun afterwork spots and they aren't very smoke that time of the day.

You guys think an upscale type bar would work in Metairie?

Something like a combo of The Bulldog meets, say, Monkey Hill type place.
