We really enjoy it. The tres leches cake is really good. Believe it or not one of my favorite dishes is the fajita salad.

One on my favorite pseudo Mexican restaurants. Used to be more of a Mexican-Louisiana fusion, but now a broader Mexican fusion restaurant.

I went years ago - I love mole and it was on the menu at the time (might still be) - it was very good but we’ve never been back

Loved their original Sherwood location. Wanna say that would have been around 99-2001 or so. Decent food but it’s kinda pricey.

It's worth a try. I don't like their enchiladas but everything else is decent. Pricier than la carreta.

It is alright. I did not really enjoy it as much as other Mexican restaurants in the city. I found the food bland and pricey.

What was the name of Carlo's dad's place up Airline by Cortana? That was/is the GOAT Mexican restaurant.

This.

It is better than many of the Mexican restaurants in the city that serve a lot of the exact same Tex-mex slop. It has a more diverse menu. But not so much better as to justify some of their ridiculous prices. $22 for three skit steak tacos?

El Rio Grande. Carlo’s bro has run it since they year of my birth, 1962, and yes it’s the best Mexican food in town.

What is the best thing at El Rio Grande?

I feel like I need to give them a second try if this many people like it. I thought it was horrible when I tried it a few years ago. Maybe it was a bad night. Although some places just leave us with memories, so even after decline we continue to frequent them.

Thanks for the feedback - I am a young professional and was wondering if the food and drink was better and cheaper than Superior (Appears to be a "Yes"). Also, I was seeing if Mestizo has a decent atmosphere to drink Margs with friends in the afternoon
