Automatic Slims Tonga Club, downtown across from the Peabody.

It’s been a few years but I’d recommend Andrew Michael. Interim was really good as well. Neither is downtown though if that’s what you are looking for.

There is a good restaurant in the Peabody, the name escapes me, but the Rendezvous is across the street from the front entrance, and is a must go...

Had dinner at Catherine & Mary's a couple weeks ago and it was very good.

Could not remember the name of Iris. Was awesome. Looks like it is closed for renovations?

Flight, Iris, Chez Philippe (in Peabody), Folks Folly(my favorite), Itta Bena, Southern Social(Germantown). All good

Flight if you can get in.

McEwen’s if you like wine

Folk’s Folly (which is in East Memphis) for a great steak

Chez Phillippe is the one in the Peabody someone mentioned

Whether you go to Rendezvous depends on if you like dry rub BBQ. I don’t really like Rendezvous and prefer Centeal BBQ. There is one downtown next to the civil rights museum and one in midtown near University of Memphis.

Majestic downtown for Sunday brunch. Doors open at 11. Get there at 11 if you don’t want to wait or sit outside in the heat.

Iris first then folks folly. Flight is fine if you have to stay downtown

Thoughts on South of Beale?

Trying to find a last minute place to eat tonight. Flight is booked along with most other places

Hog & Hominy was really, really good. I think we had a better meal there than at Peche and we love Peche.

Prayers sent
If you luck up, get the sweetbreads. The sauce they’re in — you could put dirty socks in there and it would be delicious.

We had a great meal. Went with the poutine, meatballs, and red eye pizza. We will definitely be back
