Memphis area food and drink recommendations

Just moved to the Memphis area (Germantown) for the next year. I know we have a few posters who live in the area. Would love to make a list of places I should try and visit over the next year. I'm not picky so all genres are open.

Commissary - ribs, brisket, sausage
Central BBQ - ribs and brisket - I actually prefer the Germantown location
Flight - Lots of great small plate options. NYE and Valentine’s menus always slap. We spent $400 dollars here one NYE. Granted, well over $100 of that was on wine, but when we walked out, I looked at my wife and said I feel like I should be mad that we just spent $400 on a meal, but that was good enough that I don’t even care. Then we went and drank 40’s at Raiford’s
Porch and Parlor - upscale steak place
Folk’s Folly - a step below Porch and Parlor, but still damn good imo
Have always heard Itta Bena is good, never been.
Rendezvous - it’s alright if you like grilled ribs with a bunch of bbq rub poured on them as their grilling… Like not knocking it, I’ll go if that’s where everybody wants to go. Just saying that’s just what you should be prepared for.
Breakfast spots-
Sunrise Memphis - You’ve got one in East Memphis by the Cadillac Dealership on Poplar.
Automatic Slim’s by the Peabody is pretty good
A couple good donut shops around too. Names are escaping me though.
A lot more options as good, or maybe better, than what I listed. This is just what we usually do when we’re in town 2-3 times a year.

Any of the Ticer/Hudman places (all in Memphis). Hog & Hominy, Andrew Michael, Catherine and Mary's
In Germantown:
Moondance (nicer)
Southern Social (Nicer)
Huey's (burgers)
Germantown Commissary (bbq)
Las Tortugas (authentic Mexican)
Collierville:
South of Beale (also one downtown)
Bangkok Alley (Thai, multiple locations around the area)
Jim's Place (niceish place owned by Greeks with Greek influence)
I'll think of some more if you want Indian, Mediterranean

Probably thinking of Gibson's. Nan's in Collierville has good donuts but they have a great selection of savory stuff too.

Thanks for the recs
Have been to Central BBQ several times and enjoy it. Went to Hueys last weekend and it was a solid burger and beer spot. Went to Boscos in Midtown last night and it was solid.

I was coming to recommend Flight, but see that was taken care of so I'll second it. It was a great meal.

Alex’s Tavern - quintessential Memphis dive with secretly amazing food, near Rhodes campus. Rocky is a local treasure.

Elwood’s Shack. Great hole in the wall spot with a wide selection of stuff. Mostly bbq related.

Uncle Lou’s fried chicken is good. Gotta get the sweet and spicy love

This guy knows what’s up. Just go around noon, not a great part of town.
Elwood’s is great too

Boscos
I went there once but honestly wouldn’t go back. Memphis has many food options better than there so if you enjoyed it you are in for a treat with other options. It’s a cool area though
I’ll also add young Ave deli
Really good beer selection. Solid food. Divey atmosphere which I enjoy

No one has mentioned Gus's
First time I ate there I heard angels singing
