I'm a fan of Memphis style BBQ. Sauce is sweet and tangy.

Rendezvous. The ribs aren't what you're used to, but they're good. And their sauce is some of the best I've ever had. Second Gus's. Check out Sun Studios if you have time.

Also, there's a great butcher shop in Crystal Springs, MS if you're going up 55. Wilson's Meat House.

Central BBQ or BBQ shop for bbq
Gus's for fried chicken
Iris or Andrew/Michael for fine dining
Hog & hominy for casual adventurous food (best spot in Memphis right now IMHO).

Gus's.

Central or BBQ Shop for BBQ, although honestly I find Memphis Q to be extremely overrated.

I had Central BBQ a few weeks ago and it was good, but not near the best.

Pulled pork was dry, ribs were alright and sausage was the best.

Sorry about that. Every one I've ever had just melted in my mouth.

It was like the freshest wendy's you could imagine, but overall, that's how I felt. It was good, just not worth as much it was hyped to me.
