I think I saw a food channel thing on cuban or dominican baseball players eating hotdogs with mayo and potato chips on them?

Try putting Mayo on a Hot Dog for someone from Chicago, New York, or Boston and they'll throw it back at you.

They'll do the same thing if you give 'em one with ketchup on it. Ketchup on hot dogs is a major no-no.

Yes, I think THAT is the big bug-a-boo in Chicago. NOOOOOOOO KETCHUP! Mayo is strictly optional and not a big deal...as I understand it.

Yes, I saw that too. It was "HAM ON THE STREETS...Venusualan(spelling?) baseball player ate like 10 or 12...right before a game! Think he got the game winning hit!

As I recall the big differnece from just any ole hotdog was crushed potato chips. Sounds...interesting!

Some of the places that serve hotdogs up north don't even HAVE ketchup as an option.

Now I'm crazy hungry. I see about half a dozen hot dog varieties in there I haven't tried but now I am dying to.

I don't know, but the Pink's one with bacon on a hotdog is probably gonna win out for 1st try.

Mustard
Mustard and relish

These are the three ways I will eat a hot dog.

Yes.
I tried it only because I don't like mustard or ketchup. I liked it, but I don't use it all the time and I never use it on a chili dog.

hat the Brigtsen's did buy it. The papers were finalized fairly recently so it was a down-low until then. Their goal is to not really change it, but restore the quality to how they remember it from years ago...revive it more than anything.

great news that they will keep it similar to what it was...a staple in the community for decades

The correct way to eat a hot dog is with mustard and kraut (with optional onions).
