Married Folks: what meal/dish did your future spouse seal the deal with?

Was just now getting excited because Mrs. Buck will be making the dish that she "trapped" me with for Sunday dinner tomorrow ... stewed turkey necks with rice, with sweet corn on the side. Nothing like double starches with tender meat smothered in the world's best gravy to let a man know he ain't gotta look any further.
Any of you guys have a certain dish/meal that when your future spouse prepared it for you that first time, you felt like "yeah, this'll work" ...?

I proposed to my wife over the only meal I knew how to cook. Which just happened to be her favorite.
That was 21 years ago, so she must have liked it.

My wife doesn't cook But her willingness to try anything and everything at least once is one of the many reasons that I knew she was the one
I dated way too many before that were just too damn picky or wouldn't even try new things
I truly despise that in people

Yup, it's same thing here. My wife's cooking on her nights is heating up premade stuff. I cook the other nights and that's probably one reason she stuck with me!
ETA: If my wife has a specialty, it's probably her pecan pie she makes for Thanksgiving. I don't eat pecans so I don't eat it, but it gets rave reviews from others.

My wife can make a mean ham sandwich. That's about it. I learned to cook from my father. Thank the good lord.

Over 20 yrs ago a special lady showed me how ville platte smoked meat and some rice and gravy can make a man do just about anything, I'm still not right...

She struggled at first but after we were married a couple years she finally successfully boiled water. That really solidified the deal.
