Man vs. Food (The Newer Episodes)

When I saw that they were bringing the show back with the new guy casey instead of Adam I thought it would be awful.
I am actually enjoying Casey a lot more than Adam on this show. Towards the end of Adam's run, I felt he thought he was bigger than the show and he wasn't having fun on it. This Casey guy seems to really enjoy what he is doing.
Any one else feel this way?

I saw one episode and did like the guy better than Adam. Adam got to big (relatively speaking) and you could tell it went to his head.

I think it was more of a being really unhealthy and it starting to take a toll on his body. He quit and lost a bunch of weight because he started having depression issues.

Damn. Well that makes some sense.
I enjoy the show and seeing the different food challenges but I can see how constantly doing these close together isn’t the best for one’s health

Yep, I actually went in just wanting to hate the guy because I was a fan of Adam. The guy seems really fun. I stopped watching when they did the man vs food nation. Really liking the new guy

I do enjoy the show but I thought Adam was better (early on). Casey gets a little to hammy at times but over all i think he is doing a good job.

I watch it and enjoy it.
The end with the food challenges gets old though and I think it's unnecessary part but I guess they would have to change the name of the show.

I get what you are saying but for a show that showcases foods around the country, I watch diners drive ins and dives. I watch this to see the different challenges. They all end up being pretty repetitive but its fun filler tv for me.

I liked his strategy of a four pound sandwich he finished off in the Daytona episode. Separated the meat, cheeses, veggies and bread and ate them individually and he killed it.

Honestly, the new guys seems like he’s doing an Adam impression. It’s quite odd.
