Why cant Baton Rouge or New Orleans get either of these restaurants? I believe Magginos would thrive in Baton Rouge with the exit of Deangelos.

Pappasito’s, not Pappacito’s (Texas chain) was where Mi Padre’s on Bluebonnet/Perkins is circa 2005.

Pappacitos was a place that was meh compared to the rest of the Mexican food places in Houston. But it would be dominant in NOLA.

Don't know about Maggianos. There was a Buca on the West Bank that failed, and a Carrabas in Metairie that is very meh

The amount of money Pappasitos charges for their (borderline) average TexMex in the Houston market is fricking criminal.

I actually understand it for BR, though the price point is definitely above market. But for NO? Nah.

Yeah, they're either closed or already closed. Read about it a couple of weeks ago. That rent has be ridiculous so I'm curious what will take it's place.

Sometimes we will go with the family on fathers/Mother’s Day and all just eat off the family style menu. You get a shite ton of food and it’s fine.
