Of course it does to people who have a more discerning palate. But for the unadventurous suburbanite who wants familiarity I guess it serves a purpose. It just sucks that it and other chains choke out the mom and pops producing better foid

Just asking. No doubt there are plenty of people that hit Golden Corral, Olive Garden, Outback etc. Anyone that disputes that does not live in reality.

I’ve never defended these chains. I’ve onky said they actually cook the food they serve and it’s not all frozen an reheated like everyone here claims. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t suck.

I have no idea. But, I do ask when I order gumbo if they make it in house anywhere I go (new) because you never know.

People on this site and in general think/claim everything at most chain restaurants is precooked and reheated. Being that my wife has 20 years Of corporate experience I’ve corrected this. Not sure why the fact that shitty chains not actually microwaving entrees pisses people off

I did think Applebee's was mostly prepared frozen food defrosted and heated per order.
