Just sat down with a nice martini and decided to take this for another ride from the top.

Glad I could do a small part. You'll note that early on, I predicted..correctly...the future meltdown.

I've wasted 6 hours of good time today cruising the net trying to find a gif of two fat bastards bumping bellies...it belongs in this thread. Find that gif!

As long as this has been resurrected for the Friday happy hour, one of my favorite apps at Uglesich's was the shrimp in cream sauce served over the grit cake. Heavenly.

Carry on.

What I love about the thread is these two kept chewin' on each other, oblivious to the fun and/or criticsm offered by the viewing audience....sorta reminded me of two hounds fighting...you can hollar at 'em, kick 'em, beat on 'em...but they ain't quitin' 'till they've done what they wanted to do.

Uh, oh. 1/2 cup of cream and NO shrimp stock.

Thank goodness! I was beginning to worry about your mental health and stress levels.

Y.A, I don't think I've ever had shrimp and grits with stock and I have no idea what "Louisiana style shrimp and grits" are. I thought they originated in the grit country of the eastern US.

Those are the kind that are seasoned better than the kind from the East Coast.

I don't know Otis. I've had some recipes from over there that were spot on. No stock, but they were very tasty. They do a few things well in that part of the world. Crispy fried whole flounder is one of them.
